teachers and coordinates high-quality resources to provide leaders and teachers with relevant wellbeing strategies to reduce burnout and broader wellbeing concerns in education using a stepped approach ("do now", "do next", "make it happen"). The resources further aim to increase positive emotion, engagement, relationships, meaning and accomplishment among teachers and leaders.

The “Making Wellbeing Happen” project was developed as a response to the ongoing and well documented concerns around the wellbeing of teachers, leaders and the overall wellbeing culture in educational institutions by Victoria University and The AVID Center. Many teachers are leaving the profession well before retirement age due to high rates of occupational stress, workload, and burnout. This, together with unsuccessful attempts of attracting and retaining teachers to the profession has led to a teacher crisis in Australia.
The project addresses the need for evidence-based, customisable but foremost simple, effective and accessible supports for leaders and teachers to maintain and improve wellbeing of themselves and in their school. The resulting website is codesigned by leaders and
